Fabio is a Brazilian environmental activist, lawyer, and politician. He has been a key force in biodiversity conservation and has collaborated with Dr. Strier on primate conservation in Brazil. He came to UW-Madison to co-teach a course with Dr. Strier, called “Policy and Practice for Biodiversity and Climate Change in Brazil” in the fall of 2024.
