Jacob is a seventh-year Ph.D. candidate in the Strier Lab. His research focuses on the effects of seasonality and elevation use on behavioral and dietary flexibility in snub-nosed monkeys (Rhinopithecus bieti).
Jacob was briefly interviewed in an episode of Travelogue: Exploring Hidden China. The episode documents some of the ecotourism, conservation, and educational activities surrounding black-and-white snub-nosed monkeys in the Baima Snow Mountain Nature Reserve, where Jacob conducts his field research.
