Maddie Thall (she/her/hers)

Maddie is a second-year graduate student interested in personality and social relationships in non-human primates. She most recently studied self-scratching behavior and its relationship to social context in wild mantled howler monkeys in Costa Rica. She earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Carleton College where she studied resilience and the impact of stressors in captive cotton-top tamarins, and post-undergrad spent a year as a lab manager in the Neiworth Primate Lab at Carleton studying episodic and recognition memory in our aging tamarins.
